THE ALABAMA ROOM OFFERS ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS INTERESTED IN ANNISTON, CALHOUN COUNTY, AND ALABAMA HISTORY AND PERSONAL GENEALOGICAL RESEARCH.

Effective January 1, 2008 prints ordered through the library will incur a handling fee of $5.00.  The fee will be payable prior to placing the print order.

  • BESSIE COLEMAN COLLECTION - Bessie Coleman Robinson was a local historian who also wrote articles for the Anniston Star. Her collection is catalogued by subject name. ONLINE
  • LENORA MARTIN COLLECTION - Lenora Martin was a local genealogist. She wrote articles for the Jacksonville News in the mid-1970's. Her collection is catalogued by subject name. ONLINE
  • RUSSELL BROTHER'S PHOTOGRAPHY - Photographs of Anniston and many of Annistonians taken in the late 1800's and early 1900's. These photographs are of the local business community and studio portraits.
